WHEELERS HILL
COMPLETED
Client: Private Developer
Project Type: Residential Development / 2 x Townhouses
Project Size: 490sqm of built environment and landscaping
Project Budget: $950k
Project Duration: January 2016 - August 2016
These townhouses were designed by award winning architects Peter Wright & Associates in Sandringham. In addition to the construction contract, we were also contracted to style the houses by our own design consultant Christine; covering everything from brick selections and mortar finishes to tapware, benchtops and splash backs.
The site located in the ‘Golden Mile’ of Wheelers Hill, required careful consideration of the surrounding environment and the tree overlay throughout. The final designs and styling complimented the area and providing 2 quality modern townhouses with a separation between the first floors, plenty of natural light, and grand entrances while maintaining several existing trees on-site (required by council) and fitting in with the surrounding houses, especially important as this was the first townhouse development along this sought after crescent.
The townhouses consist of 4 bedrooms, large kitchens with a separate butler’s pantry, laundries, large open plan living areas, rumpus rooms to the first floors, single car garages and landscaped entertaining areas. The list of finishes included, hand crafted Daniel Robertson bricks from Tasmania, Colourbond Steel Roofing, Double Glazed windows, Quantum Quartz marble bench tops and 2 Pak Cabintery throughout, Floor to Ceiling Tiling, 900mm Premium Bosch Appliances, Glazed Splashbacks, Large Mirrors, Premium quality carpets and so on and so on.
